Anran Geng is a Los Angeles-based designer and visual artist with a background in production design, concept art and fine art.
Trained at the China Academy of Art and the American Film Institute, she uses design as a visual language to shape stories from initial conception to completion, transforming abstract emotions into intentional, expressive and character-driven spaces.
Her practice spans production design, concept design, scenic design and visual development, with a focus on world-building and the emotional core of each narrative. She approaches production design as a form of storytelling, creating environments that are visually strong, symbolically layered and emotionally truthful.
